The Old Ball and Chain

It would seem that the choice to follow Christ is not unlike the choice to become married. Both involve lifetime commitments; both involve the practice of giving of oneself; both involve forgiveness. Both relationships involve the willingness to love in the absence of the perception of returned love from time to time.
